Come hear his Booming voice as he serenades you with songs from Broadway. He also tosses in some love songs from the 1920's thru the 1960's which were hits by the Great Broadway performers. He adds some Movie clips from those Broadway greats and takes you back to a time of Love and Hope. He always finishes with songs of hope which will put a new spring in your step, happiness in your heart and a song in your soul. This show explores the chemistry behind some of music history's most popular songwriting teams, including the jazz stylings of George and Ira Gershwin, the Broadway genius of John Kander and Fred Ebb, and the timeless romantic pop of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Kimber Leigh stars in "Broads of Broadway"

Kimber Leigh Nussbaum, a singer who has won rave reviews for her performances with the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band and her one-woman shows, is again bringing her talents to the Skokie Theatre in an exhilarating cabaret show featuring the great ladies and great songs of The Great White Way.

The intimate performance will feature a collection of both popular and unique songs from the musical theatre, both past and current, that musically inspired Nussbaum as a young girl and keep her inspired today. Nussbaum will be joined on stage by a few Maxwell Street Klezmer Band members, including pianist Gail Mangurten, saxophonist/clarinetist Shelley Yoelin and bassist Jim Cox.
